Accreditation & Training Standards

The NVRA Practitioner Levels

We are frequently asked by NVR practitioners, "What can I do at my level?" or "What are the NVR training levels?" or "What does NVR Level 1, 2 or 3 actually mean?"

 

Therefore, we have put together the below at-a-glance NVRA Practitioner Levels to help.

Level 1 - NVR-Informed Practitioner

  • Integrate the NVR principles into their work with families

  • Support NVR parent/carer groups - provided have attended NVR Parent Group training

  • Access NVR-specific Supervision

  • Option to proceed with Level 2 training

 

Level 2 - Advanced NVR Practitioner

All at Level 1, plus:

  • Provide NVR Coaching to parents / carers to multi-stressed families (specialising in e.g. trauma, abuse, self-isolation, anxiety, adult-entrenched dependency, eating disorders, neurodiversity & learning disabilities,etc)

  • Run NVR parent/carer groups - provided have shadowed a full programme

  • Option to proceed with Level 3

 

Level 3 - Accredited NVR Practitioner

All at Level 2, plus:

  • Provide fully Accredited NVR Coaching to professionals & families

  • Use your NVRA Accredited Practitioner logo in your signature

  • Option to proceed with the pathway for an Accredited NVRA Supervisor

  • Option to proceed with the pathway for an Accredited NVRA Trainer
